rules & deadlines
Photos must be taken in Alaska. There are no restrictions on how many times an individual can vote or how many photos can be entered into the contest.
By submitting a photo, an individual is claiming that they have full photo rights to the image and it is not owned or licensed to any other party. If one or more of their entries are selected, they agree to allow the Fairbanks Dog Park to use the selected entries for promotion and publication.
Winning photos can be disqualified at any time if quality does not meet printer requirements. Any runners up would be substituted.
The Fairbanks Dog Park assumes no responsibility for the photographs submitted and the photographs will not be returned. Board members and the FDP volunteers working on this project are not eligible to submit.
In the case of a tie in public votes, or an absence of votes, the FDP Board and project volunteers will determine final winners as needed.
Deadlines:
Deadline for photo submission is midnight on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Mailed photos must be postmarked by Friday, August 20, 2010 to be accepted. Voting will end midnight on August 31, 2010. Mailed votes must be postmarked by Wednesday, August 25, 2010 to be accepted. Winners will be posted on the web and notified by email or US mail. All winners will be required to sign a photo release waiver.
